Every two years the British Archaeological Awards celebrate the best happenings in the world of archaeology over the past 24 months.
Entries are now being invited for the 2008 Awards, which are supported by a variety of sponsors.
Categories for nominations, to be received before May 31 2008, include:
Best Archaeological Project of the Year
Best Independent or Amateur Project of the Year
Archaeological Book(s) of the Year
Best Archaeological TV/Radio Programme of the Year
Archaeological Discovery of the Year
Archaeological Innovation of the Year
ICT Project of the Year
Lifetime Achievement
Young Archaeologist of the Year

The Awards will take place at the British Museum on Monday November 10 2008.
