The search for Norfolk’s most talented photographer has begun at Norwich Arts Centre (NAC). Entrants have until Monday June 2 2008 to capture and send in 6 images.
There are two categories, Adult Photographer and Young Photographer. Prizes include photographic vouchers, a ‘People’s Prize’ voted by the general public, free use of the NAC media lab and darkroom and a commission for a solo exhibition at NAC.
“Whether you’re a quick ‘snapper’ or a professional photographer, this is your chance to shine in the Norfolk Photographer of the Year Competition,” promised a Norwich Arts Centre spokesperson.

The theme this year is ‘Little Things’ and literal and symbolic interpretations of the theme are welcome. NAC advises: “Be creative! All work is judged on quality and originality rather than professional experience.”
