Red House Museum and Gardens

The pond is home to marsh marigolds, blue flag iris, frogs, and water snails.  Did you know? - that the Red House building used to be a workhouse, opened in 1764? You can see exhibits of fusee chains used in watches and clocks, made at the workhouse by very young children.
