There are 2,000 toys and dolls on show on the Isle of Wight at the Lilliput Museum. The earliest exhibit is an Egyptian Ushabti, a miniature representation of a person, or very early form of doll.

A wax doll on display is wearing a remnant of Queen Caroline's wedding dress from 1790! 

As well as rocking horses, tin plate toys and train sets, there’s a fantastic Humpty Dumpty Circus from 1905.
